AEGIS Recognized as Distinguished HSPC Member

In late January 2016, AEGIS became a formal recognized member the Healthcare Services Platform Consortium (HSPC), a provider-led, multi-stakeholder initiative to launch a next-generation service oriented platform for healthcare.

We are using AEGIS’ platform for testing and developing a supportability framework for the HSPC. This effort will evolve not only to support the data virtualization layer of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) but will support all aspects of the business and enterprise service bus layers as well.  We are pleased with our current progress and look forward to our continued work with AEGIS.”

AEGIS is one of nine distinguished members referenced in HSPC’s recent announcement HSPC: HIMSS 2016 + New Member Announcements. We bring a wealth of technology implementation savvy & expertise to the HSPC particularly with the launch of the Touchstone Project, an AEGIS Developers Integration Lab (DIL) initiative – a next generation cloud-based Testing Platform which applies Conformance and Interoperability testing in a Test-Driven-Development (TDD) integrated ecosystem.

AEGIS is pleased to be an organizational member of HSPC. We continue to accelerate standards adoption and advocate that standards, conformance to those standards, and thorough testing to ensure conformance helps mitigate risk to achieve true, seamless information exchange.”

– Mario Hyland, Senior Vice President & Founder at AEGIS

Touchstone provides an automated testing platform for the rapidly expanding use of the Health Level Seven® (HL7®) Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) specification. Our platform guides those implementations towards a high degree of conformance and interoperability in a continuous model.

We look forward to sharing our experiences with the HIMSS & HSPC Interoperability and Testing Community. To learn more about healthcare interoperability and testing, please stop by Booth 12949 (near the Interoperability Showcase in Hall G – lower level).
